The London & Middlesex branch is pleased to invite you to join us on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10 am for our monthly event. Our host, Arthur McClelland, will take you on a tour of the public space that is known as “The London Room”.
About the Ivey Family London Room
Located on the 3rd Floor of the Central Library, located at:
251 Dundas St, London (if you are driving, please enter the underground parking lot via King Street, at the corner of King and Clarence Streets, just under the overhead linked walkway). Check at the Library front desk to find out how to receive your voucher for 2 hours free parking!
Whether you’d like to learn about the history of your home, discover your family’s history or conduct in-depth research, the Ivey Family London Room at the Central Library is a valuable local history resource.
This research facility for genealogy and local history contains a wealth of source materials on the City of London and Middlesex County, such as: books, diaries & manuscripts, minutes, maps, photographs and other memorabilia, and selected municipal documents.
For those conducting family history research, collection emphasis is southwestern Ontario and includes: census information, cemetery transcriptions, vital statistics indexes, birth/marriage/death records, passenger lists, and family histories.
NOTE: This event will be in-person only for this meeting, but will be recorded and the recording will be made available, as per our usual practice, on our website some time after the event.
