The London & Middlesex County Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society was organized in March 1968, just seven years after the formation of the Society. The Branch has held three very successful provincial conferences.

At the end of 2016, the Ontario Genealogical Society London & Middlesex Branch Library, formerly located at 1017 Western Rd, London, ON (Grosvenor Lodge), closed.  The OGS Family Histories Collection was then transferred to Middlesex County Library. The Family Histories Collection can be used in-library at the Wright Family Research Room inside the Strathroy Library, located at 34 Frank Street, Strathroy, ON N7G 2R4. The remainder of the branch materials are held in storage awaiting digitization.

The territory covered by our Branch encompasses the City of London, Ontario (Wiki) and the historic townships of Middlesex County. Check out details about Townships and First Nations here.

New records freely available! Check out the free resources page to access the Parkhill Area Necrology transcriptions and index, kindly donated by Donald Read.
