The London & Middlesex branch is pleased to invite you to join us on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10 am for our monthly hybrid event, with author, historian and speaker, Glenn Stott, who will be joining us in person.
A bit about our Speaker:

Glenn Stott is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and a retired teacher and former principal with the Middlesex County Board of Education. He has been married 55 years to Lynne, raised 4 wonderful children and is blessed with 6 perfect grandchildren. Glenn is a well-known local historian, guest presenter and author, who has authored about a half a dozen books related to local history including the War of 1812. His most recent book, Blood on the Snow: The Donnelly and the Biddulph Tragedy, was published in 2023.
Synopsis:
Glenn will provide an overview of the main incidents of the war involving the Oxford, Middlesex, Kent and Essex militias from the capture of Detroit to McArthur’s Raid. His talk will attempt to identify locations and mysteries associated with these events.
This is a hybrid meeting, so you may attend in person, or virtually – your choice. Registration is required for those planning to attend virtually. Attendance is free and open to all.
