London & Middlesex Branch invites you to join us on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at 10 a.m. for a Zoom presentation:”Cross-Border Cousins: Tip-toe through Canadian Records”

Speaker, Steve Fulton UE, is Past President of the Ontario Genealogical Society, Chair of the Niagara Peninsula Branch since 2009 and Chair of the OGS Technical Support and Innovation Committee (TSIC). He has been a OGS member since 2008 and resides in St. Catharines. As a Family Historian and a Canadian with a 25-year career in IT Management, he has a desire to preserve the data to the next generation for all those researching this very vast northern country. Steve’s passion and enthusiasm for genealogy and the concept of paying it forward has brought together many groups for the benefit of family history, building bridges and meeting new people.

Steve will be sharing his knowledge of Canadian records and tips for researching our ancestors who may have traveled across the Canada-US borders to reach their eventual place of settlement. Canada is a very diverse country with lots of bits and pieces to understand if you are research north of the boarder. From BHC’s to Census to Privacy, navigating this landmine field takes a little Canadian Knowledge, EH?

The event is free and all are welcome to attend and share this with your friends and family. Registration is required. To register, visit https://bit.ly/LMOA-Sep2021
