The London and Middlesex Branch of Ontario Ancestors is pleased to partner with the London Public Library in announcing that the Ivey Family London Room is now a Familysearch Affiliate Library.
Come join us on Saturday, August 19th, from 2-3 pm in the Friends of the Library Boardroom, located on the 3rd level at the Central Library for the Familysearch Affiliate Library launch.
Whether you are new to genealogy, or an experienced researcher, you may wish to learn m
ore about the advantages of being an affiliate library and how access to this resource will assist you in your family research.
The event will include:
- a brief introduction to Familysearch
- examples of records that are otherwise not available on your home computer
- a tour of the London Room and it’s many resources for local research.
Please note: The Central Library provides 2 hours of free parking (with voucher) in the underground parking lot. Bring your parking ticket with you and request a parking voucher at the front desk of the library before you return to your vehicle.
