The London and Middlesex branch of Ontario Ancestors is pleased to support and promote the following event, organized by the Middlesex County Library.

Author Dean Jobb will present online via Zoom to discuss his new book, The Case of the Murderous Dr. Cream, about Victorian-era serial killer Dr. Thomas Neill Cream.  There is a local London, Ontario connection to this book as there was a victim named Kate Hutchinson Gardner.  On May 3, 1879, Gardner’s body was found near Dr. Cream’s office at Clarence and Dundas about where the Capitol (Allen) Theatre partially stands.

Everyone is welcome to this free online author talk program on Thursday, June 17 from 7-8pm via Zoom.  Registration is required and can be done so through EventBrite: https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/virtual-author-visit-with-dean-jobb-the-case-of-the-murderous-dr-cream-tickets-153505307507.  Additional information on this library program can be found on MCL’s Facebook event page: https://www.facebook.com/events/1232015600591910/.
