Genetic Genealogy: DNA Testing Tools & Tips.

Ben Dawson will present on genetic genealogy (DNA testing) and how it can be used to enhance your family tree research as well as help bring down those brick walls. Ben will discuss some DNA testing basics what to do with your results once you have them and how to analyzed your results as this can often be a very difficult step for those new to genetic genealogy. Ben will also review some online tools and websites that you can use to further analyze your DNA results.

Finding Hidden Secrets in the Databases of the OGS.

Steve Fulton, President of OGS, joins us to discuss the databases available from OGS and what you can find there to help with your genealogical research. As this is also the London & Middlesex branch's 50th Anniversary, we will be taking this opportunity to recognize this milestone at the December meeting with a celebration.
